2012 – Setting up the Stage

It’s been awhile since I’ve updated this blog! But extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures!

Finally after 27 years of life, I finally recognized the yearning I’ve always had to want to be the center of attention and on stage as an entertainer. And so with 100% conviction, I’ve decided to embark on a journey to make a living off of being an MC and a singer! Getting ready for this journey has already been plenty exciting, and I’m looking to share all my adventures moving forward here on this blog!

From here on out, though, there will be no promises to update every day, or even regularly. I’m done with promising what I can’t deliver. When I’m excited enough to share something, it will be here, and that’s it! And I think that’s going to be fairly often ;]

でも今年はスペシャルの一年だから、スペシャルな行動も取る！

先月、自分がずっと抑えてたエンターテイナーの精神をやっと認めて、今後100％の確信でMCとシンガーとしてやっていこうと決めた！もう、先月からいっぱいプランニングと自分探しをして、楽しくてしょうがない。これからの冒険をこのブログでシェアしたいと思ってる！

ただ、毎日か定期的な更新なんて約束しない。もう、自分が守らない約束をしないことにした。ただ、興奮してみんなとシェアしたいことがあれば、ここでする！それだけです！そして、たぶん良くする気がする☆

The Greater the Risk, the Greater the… Failure

Had a meeting with a fairly successful businessman earlier today.

You may know that I work together with my friend on the business we started together, mogostyle. Well the guy I spoke to apparently did his research so he knew about our products and what we have to offer. Fantastic.

He didn’t know, though, that I work closely with my partner and we know every single person we’ve made mogos for, especially since each one is designed by hand. So when he said that he had a mogo and he even had our mogo stickers laying on his desk at home, it was pretty easy to see through his little fib.

The greater the risk, the greater the reward. But sometimes you don’t always end up with the reward.

But actually, that’s probably not really the moral of the story. The moral is, be genuine. Feigned interest never really works in the first place. When you feign interest, there’s only risk and no reward.
